On Beacon Hill

We were on our way to breakfast at the Capitol Coffee House which was highly rated on Yelp when we saw the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House. Located on the top of Beacon Hill, and I mean the very TOP, the Massachusetts State House over looks the beautiful and famous Boston Common which in the middle of the winter was surprisingly filled with people bundled up ice skating on the Frog Pond. After warming and filling up at the non-pretentious and very friendly Capitol Coffee House, we bundled up and walked toward the State House. We were told by a guard that there were daily tours, but only during the week. To our dismay, it was Saturday. What else was I to do, but to freeze my hands off, quite literally, and take lots of pictures from the outside. <insert sad face here>

Enjoy. Hope you like the pictures.
